CHATTANOOGA – Congressman Paul Ryan (R-WI), chairman of the House Budget Committee, endorsed Congressman Chuck Fleischmann’s re-election campaign.
"Over the last two years, I have worked side by side with Chuck Fleischmann to get our fiscal house in order, advancing solutions that would reduce our nation’s crushing burden of debt and get our economy growing. I have been proud to stand with Chuck as House Republicans have changed the culture in Washington from one that prioritizes spending taxpayer dollars, to one that prioritizes saving them. If we're going to avoid President Obama's future of debt, doubt, and decline - we will need proven conservatives like Chuck Fleischmann in Congress and I’m honored to support him,” Congressman Ryan said.
“Chairman Ryan is one of the country’s foremost thinkers on how to get our country’s fiscal house in order, and has led with real ideas on how to stop the out-of-control spending and reduce our debt. I have enjoyed working with him on how to solve our debt and deficit problems. Chairman Ryan is someone who knows the tough choices that have to be made, and is willing to offer solutions for them. I am honored to have his support, and look forward to continuing to work with him as we solve our country’s fiscal problems,” Fleischmann said.
