Three state legislators endorse Chuck

CHATTANOOGA – State Representatives John Ragan, Dennis Powers, and Kelly Keisling endorsed Congressman Chuck Fleischmann's campaign for re-election today. These three officials represent all, or parts, of Anderson, Campbell, Scott, and Union counties in the newly drawn 3rd Congressional District.

"It is within our power to choose someone to represent us in government that understands it is necessary to limit government interference in the life of its citizens. We have a candidate that we know is honest and stands for the values that have made our state and our country strong and free. We can get behind a candidate that proudly advocates what is right and unashamedly identifies what is wrong! Today, it is my privilege to endorse such a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives for Tennessee’s Third District, Mr. Chuck Fleischmann," Representative Ragan said.

"I appreciate the great job that Chuck has done while in Congress," Representative Keisling said. "Chuck is a conservative who is committed to fixing the problems in Washington and I am honored to support Chuck Fleischmann in his bid to return to Congress."

"Chuck Fleischmann has done an excellent job in Washington," Representative Powers said. "While in Congress, Representative Fleischmann voted for the Protect Life Act, to defund Planned Parenthood, to expand offshore drilling, for the 'Cut, Cap, and Balance' debt reduction plan, and to fully repeal Obamacare – among many others. I am honored to endorse someone who works hard to represent me as a conservative and as a citizen of the great state of Tennessee."

"I truly appreciate the support of these men. They are all fine gentlemen who do great work for the people of East Tennessee while representing them in Nashville. They understand that the government closest to the people is the best kind, and that we need to rein in the size of the federal government. I have enjoyed working with them over the last 17 months as I have fought to take our Tennessee values to Washington, and I look forward to continuing to work with them," Congressman Fleischmann said.
