We saw once again that voters across the country are fed up with political insiders and party bosses. Whether it was the victory of Rand Paul in Kentucky, or the defeat of Arlen Specter in Pennsylvania, the voters showed they are tired of politics as usual, and they want people with real world experience to bring common sense ideas to the halls of Congress; as Dr. Paul said last night, "We've come to take our government back!" With the defeat of Bob Bennett in Utah, and now the victory of Dr. Paul in Kentucky, the Tea Party has shown that when people come together, and stand on principle, we can make a difference.

I have never run for, or held, political office before, and I look forward to joining men just like Dr. Paul in Washington this November as we work to bring Conservative, common sense ideas back into our government.
