Last night I held my first district-wide Tele Town Hall with voters in response to President Obama's State of the Union Address.

I was able to make contact with over 15,000 households throughout the hour-long town hall. I was very encouraged to hear so many citizens getting involved in the process of returning America to its Conservative values, and enjoyed answering their questions.

Whether it was a question about stopping the government takeover of health care, putting an end to the out of control spending in Washington, the right for citizens to keep and bear arms, or the sanctity of human life, I was very encouraged by the level of determination the voters of the 3rd District showed in wanting to take back control of our government.

There is nothing more important than listening to the voters who will send me to Congress to represent them. The liberal leadership in Washington has lost touch with what everyday Americans want and need. I look forward to holding many more of these town hall meetings throughout my campaign and when I am in Congress.
