Have you ever thought about what the colors of the flag were meant to represent? According to our founding fathers the red is for hardiness and valor, the white is for purity and innocence, and the blue is for vigilance, perseverance and justice.

Today our country faces dangers unimaginable to our Founding Fathers. Our military is called on repeatedly to protect and defend us from danger. Each time that we send them off to protect us they march with the flag of the United States flying high. The pride that each of us feels when we see our flag flying is unique to the individual. It means many different things to each of us.

The one thing that we can all agree on is that the American flag represents a country unlike any the world has ever seen protected by the most magnificent military in history. Long may our flag fly over the land of the free and the home of the brave.
